Burn Fat with 12 Minute Tabata Workout
The incredibly high intensity involved in a Tabata protocol workout is the reason that this type of workout burns more calories and fat. The Tabata protocol is very quick and intense.
Here is what I did to knock out a very quick workout.
Tabata – 12 Intervals
The workout was 6 minutes long. Consisting of 12 intervals, each interval is 40 seconds of work with 20 seconds of recovery.
Give it a go:
- 4 Intervals of Mountain Climbers
- 4 Intervals of Bulgarian Bag Swings
- 4 Intervals of Jump Rope
There you go. I knocked it out and feel great. Next time you only have a few minutes, but want to fit in a workout try a an interval workout using the Tabata Protocol.
