Shooting in Aurora Batman – Not HEROIC

Seriously, this is not HEROIC. 12 people are dead and 50 people wounded from a shooter at the midnight showing of the movie. Not heroic at all.

You know I’ve been thinking about Super HEROES all week with the release of the newest Batman movie, The Dark Knight Rises. But no one expected this. Here’s the quick summary of what happened:
During the midnight showing someone seated near the front appeared to get a phone call and left through the exit door at the front of the theater. Shortly after someone dressed in all black and a gas mask entered through the same exit door. They calmly started throwing gas canisters, and started shooting. They were armed with a rifle, a shotgun, and handguns.

He kept shooting in the theater and killed 12 people and wounded 50 people.

When police arrived James Holmes surrendered. He has been apprehended and the police believe he is the only suspect involved in the case.

When the police managed to identify James Holmes’ mother she responded saying, "You have the right person," she said, apparently speaking on gut instinct. "I need to call the police… I need to fly out to Colorado."

It isn’t clear why his mother was so confident the shooter was her son. But she "knew". Be HEROIC; not idiotic. Why would someone do this type of thing?

Pray for those that were injured and for the families who have lost someone during this disaster.

This is not HEROIC; be a Super HERO and quit killing and hurting others. Seriously.
